About Me

Earth Tones — Landscape and Night Photography.

I really enjoy being out in the woods or at scenic places, which we have tons of in our area. The Black Forest is well known for it's picturesque villages and cuckoo clocks, but there is so much more to discover.

From beautiful cascades to trails away from the beaten path, cities deeply rooted in history, Roman remains, bloody tales and tiny bubbles of solitude in the densely populated area of central Europe.

Being close to the borders of France and Switzerland, there has been a great amount of influence in our lifestyle, food and arts. This is also the area where the revolutions of 1848 had their beginnings, with the spirit of humanism boiling up and people overcoming the idea of monarchy in the end.

The following equipment has booked a permanent place in my gear pack:

  • Canon 16-35 F4L IS
  • Samyang 14mm f2.8
  • Tamron 28-75mm f2.8
  • Canon EF 70-200 F4L
